The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is a role-playing video game and a sequel to The Witcher, developed by Polish studio CD Projekt RED for Microsoft Windows. While the game is being published by CD Projekt itself in Central Europe and Digital Distribution sites, distribution in North America will be handled by Atari. This game has been released last May 17th 2011.

In 2007, the Polish game developers, Projekt Red, released a game called The Witcher RPG genre. a game inspired by a fantasy novel by Andrzej Sapkowski. Game starring a character named Geralt, a white-haired witch as well as a chemist and expert sword, a duty to serve his kingdom.

 In this sequel, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings took the storyline after the events in the first series, where Geralt accept assignment from King Foltest of Temeria to investigate the curse that befell the king's daughter. at The Witcher 2, Geralt will meet with two men named Lorveth and Kingslave enemy.

The battle system of The Witcher 2, no longer needs the input of a predetermined time, but more open. The characters can attack freely using his sword, and rolling in all directions.

Also unlike Lost Planet, Lost Planet 2 will not constantly drain players of thermal energy. This is due to the warmer climate, which can sustain T-ENG presence longer than a cold climate, which drains thermal energy bit by bit. Instead, energy can only be drained when the player pilots a VS and uses a weapon that requires energy. However thermal energy is still constantly lost unless a specific ability is equipped despite the 'warmer climate'. The character may also lose thermal energy by completing one entire sprint with a character (confirmed in the demo). If one player loses all their energy, another can give them some of their energy, using a new weapon, to keep players alive.
